Snow 2010

So much snow and so much fun! We woke up to a suprising 5 1/2 inches of snow today.

These two had a blast building Frosty the Cowboy Snowman out of left over party favors from Gray's birthday!
The snow was still coming down so hard that most of our pictures turned out blurry. We stayed out and played for hours- throwing snowballs and making snow angels that we were soaking wet and FREEZING! We went in to eat cinnamon rolls and Gray literally fell asleep at the table....Kyle was soon to follow....but EH was still good to go, so she and I made homemade Valentine cards for her teachers (another post later)!

Later this afternoon, Sug and Joe (aka the biggest kid in the world when snow is on the ground) came over to play. Truth be known, Joe built a seven foot snowman in my parents yard and he was at our house to try to out do himself because, unlike them, we have no big trees in our yard, and therefore, should have more snow! Notice the large plastic container in Joe's hands and his three helpers.

Here is the first layer of Hulk, the incredible, snowman. EH thought it was her dancing stage and would not get off of it!

Well, that is, unless you would catch her when she jumped off....

And then you know who had to have a turn on stage too.....

And fearless as he is....had to jump too!

So... while Gray was dancing and jumping, EH had a new idea for Joe's plastic tub...
a REDNECK sled!!!!!!!!!!!

So Joe had to give up the dream of building the biggest Mississippi snowman ever, as there was no snow left in our yard because he pulled Elizabeth Haze around in that sled for MILES! They had a blast. Well, we ALL did!
