Mother's Day 2010

Mother's Day was a complete joy. The kids were so excited when I walked in the door from work! This is what I saw as soon as I opened the door.....
Happy mudder's daa

Then I had to shut my eyes so I could see this....

And check out these roses! I wish you could smell them! They were absolutely breath taking and lasted for almost 2 weeks. They have dried even more pretty!

More Birthday Parties......

I've said it before and I will say it again....the greater Jackson Metro toddler birthday party circuit occupies a great deal of our social calender these days. We had FOUR in one weekend. I complain, but it really is fun and I wouldn't change it for the world!

Pump it Up x 2!!!!

This was a two-fer. Matthew turned two and Nora turned four so we had a combo event! Fabulous for us and more fabulous for their momma, I am sure! Ha...

Daniels's party at Sal & Mookies- this was really different and fun. This was the back up plan for a rained out zoo party and ended up being better than the zoo! Precious place, especially for a big boy party!

Then we immediately went to a school friend's party. Her grandmother painted faces. It was precious! Sug and CC may have to do this in November!

Mamaw Sarah's 80th Birthday Party!

Mamaw Sarah turned 80 on April 8th and the entire family (well, almost) was able to travel to her house to celebrate. Doesn't she look so pretty?

My aunt Lynne prepared a feast plus made the cakes. Each flower was a cupcake for the great-grands....they loved it!
Look at all the candles!!!!

EH and the boys!....

The youngest four babes.....Grayson (2), Elizabeth Haze (4), Brodie (4) and Gavin(5). They are growing up so fast and are so cute!!!!

What could he look so excited about........

And the touble begins......all they talk about now is getting a new puppy!!!!!!!!

And who wouldn't? This puppy was too cute! But, no, we are not in the market!

A Day in the Country

While we were in Weir for the party, we took full advantage of soaking up the country life and the kiddos loved it. These pictures are all taken on my Uncles land, but when I was growing up, this was my great-grandparents' working farm.

Grayson LOVED the larger than life version of his John Deere tractor. As you can see, EH didn't hate it either! haha

This is my great grandfather's tractor that he used to take me riding on all the time during my summer trips to the farm. I can still smell his sweet smell on the leather seat and just seeing this tractor makes me want to shuck corn, shell peas and drink homemade lemonade.

Easter in a nut shell!

I am so far behind on updating this blog; these posts are going to be short and sweet! As you will notice, four year olds like to make silly faces and when said four year old has a mini clone that does everything she does, well, pictures don't turn out as cute as you would hope!

Sug made both kiddos Easter baskets when they were born. Each year we have taken their pics in their baskets and I'm afraid this will be the last year either of them will fit!

Easter pics after church!

Why didn't I get Grayson in this picture? Then I could have said all my favorite men in one spot!

We were all so worn out from all of the Easter Egg hunts Saturday and the cookout Saturday night, Kyle and I had to wake the kids up to find the Easter Bunny happies!
Look how tired they look! It took forever for them to get everything open! Kyle called them molasses because they were moving so slow!

This year we had a ton of egg hunts.
Here we are at the neighborhood hunt at the clubhouse.

Here they are after the hunt at school...

Zoo Fun!

We took advantage of the great weather Saturday and went to the Jackson Zoo.

Here are the wonderful elephants....

And our little monkeys looking at the monkeys.....

G-man soaking up all the animals!

Grayson's solo flight!

Two seconds. I turned my head for two seconds to call Haze outside to go riding on the golf cart and Grayson saw his opportunity and took it! He 'drove' the golf cart solo into the garage, hit the refrigerator and the freezer so hard, far and long that they both were unplugged once he stopped. We are so lucky that these are his only battle scars! He is all boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
