Just summertime fun!
Our latest addiction is baking our own cookies! This one is all Kyle's fault. He brought home a roll of cookie dough and a huge bottle of sprinkles. Everyday after school we come in, bake cookies, sprinkle on sprinkles and drive a huge cup of milk!
Gray doesn't really get the fact that they have to cook before we eat them. Notice his hand even in the picture of Haze!
Gray is getting so big. We took down his crib and got him a big boy sleigh bed last weekend. He helped put it together and absolutely loves it. He climbs all over it like a little monkey, lies down and snuggles with his stuffed animals, but don't dare try to make him sleep in it! We'll get there one day, but just like his crib, he has yet to spend one full night in this bed either!
When you take a 3 1/2 year old fashionista shopping to help pick out her own clothes, be careful because you just might get stuck buying a $76 Lemon Loves Lime fru-fru dress! She went NUTS when she saw it and in a Scarlet O'Hara accent said Oh, Momma, Can I have it, can I really, really have it to be mine? What else could I say? It was afterall, half price! She LIVES in it now!

The Children
My mom gave me this surprise as an early birthday present. How adorable is this? She doesn't usually paint people, but she totally captured my children's personalities somehow in this painting. This was not done by looking at a photo, she just painted it from memory. She was completely validated when she brought it over and EH said, "look, momma, it's Hazey and Grayson!" Gray also touched the little girl and said, "Hazey!" This is a birthday present I will treasure forever. Thanks momma.

The Clubhouse
Well, here it is! This past weekend Sug, Joe, Kyle and I built the clubhouse they gave the kids for Easter. Talk about a hard job. The box this came in was the size of a filing cabinet. I opened the box Friday night to find literally 1000 pieces and a 52 page instruction manual! My parents had not intended to help put it together because they had built the deck and foundation alone, but when I called and told them that the cover sheet said, "assembly time for 2 moderately skilled adults averages 6 to 8 hours," it became a necessity!
The four of us finished in record time. The kids absolutely LOVED it and have played in it for hours already.
