Working at the carwash

This could have possibly been the best weekend I have ever spent in my life. Saturday morning the 4 Claytons washed and detailed my car. I have never laughed and played so hard!

I swear, I don't know if I have EVER hand washed a car before and truth be known, I didn't help this time either!

How much fun was this?

We couldn't get her to put the hose down! He wouldn't get out of the bubbles!

Complete and pure family fun.....nothing like it in the world!

Night Night....Sleep Tight

They absolutely LOVE each other these days! Kyle and I just think it is the best thing ever! It may not last, but for now it is so much fun!

Good Ole Summer Time a Little Early!

We pretended it was summer all weekend! Ice Cream Cones, Popcicles, and a good ole fashion sprinkler....doesn't get much better than this.

We had so much fun soaking up the sun and FREEZING in the water!

These babies have Kyle's tanning ability...they both have tan lines and we weren't out there playing long at all. Lucky them!

Easter Weekend 2009

We have had the best weekend and are all a bit over-endulged! It all started off with C.C. coming over and bringing Bunny baskets Thursday night. The kids had a blast reading books, opening goodies and laughing with C.C. They each got an outfit, two books, toys and fabulous Moni rabbits! I couldn't get all three of them to even take a break long enough to look at the camera, but here they are in the middle of playing.

Saturday morning we loaded up for our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. There must have literally been 1000 eggs hidden around our clubhouse and about 100 kids hunting! It was adorable and both kiddos had a blast.

Here they are afterwards headed home in their new ride. This buggy is too cute. We can use it as a power stroller for two or hook it up behind our bikes. We have done both and Haze and Gray just love it!

Easter morning we woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had dropped off tons of loot! Even though the baskets Sug made them are super-sized, the presents wouldn't all fit!

Here we are coming home from church. Elizabeth Haze sat through big church for the entire service for the first time ever. She did a great job and with about 5 minutes left leaned over to me and said, " that's enough!" She was right too, it was a super long service today!!!!!!!!

Sug and Joe came over for Easter Sunday lunch. Kyle cooked up a traditional Thanksgiving meal and it was wonderful. We all rolled into the den after eating to open our Easter baskets. Haze and Gray loaded up BIG time getting clothes, candy, toys and a HUGE cedar playhouse for the backyard. I'll post pictures as soon as Daddy and Joe get it built!

Here are some pictures of Elizabeth Haze flying her first kite. What a great day to be doing this! Grayson went nuts over the kites as much as she did. They had a blast; well, we all did. It was a great day!

First Trip to the Dentist and not what you think.....

Gray had his frist trip to the dentist! He chipped his front tooth at school jumping in his bed! He is ok. He was a doll at the visit. He sat still during the x-rays, hardly moved while she examined all of his teeth (even the dentist was amazed that he has 20 teeth!), and did his little bouncey dance to the office disco music. We have to take him back for a follow up visit next week when we will decide to either fill it in to match his other tooth or file them both down to match. Neither option is painful nor requires sedation so we will just see what the dentist suggests.

This is but one example of how completely different boys are from girls. In the past week, Gray has chipped his front tooth, fallen down a flight of stairs, bounced off the counch and landed on his head, cut his final 2 canine teeth, busted his tush falling off the slide outside and busted his upper lip on the drive-way and barely shed a tear in the process. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Haze hasn't so much as broken a fingernail, but has had complete melt downs over the wind changing direction and because the flowers have all fallen off the bushes in the rain!!!!!!!

Just so you can see he is fine, I am including this hilarious picture of Gray before our Easter Egg Hunt this weekend! He took off out the back door dragging his big basket outside to find eggs while we were practicing with Elizabeth Haze. I left my camera at home so I have no pictures from either of our hunts this past weekend. Never fret, we have 3 more next weekend so I will make up for it. However, I don't think I am going to get a better picture of him that I can post than this!!!! Notice he does have shoes on at least!
