Polar Express Train Ride
The 4 Claytons ventured out to Calera, Alabama, with Sug and Joe to the Heart of Dixie Railroad to ride the North Pole Express to see Santa.
Everyone knows that you have to wear your Christmas pajamas on the Polar Express!
All aboard the Choo Choo train!!!!!!
This is the craziest elf alive! Such the prankster, she kept stealing the kids slippers and playing practical jokes! The kids loved her!
Sug and Sassy
And looked who showed up!!!!!!! Mrs. Claus walked in and said, "Oh, it's you two!" And Haze replied, "It is us, it really is!"
Such a sweet moment!
Then came fresh muffins!!!
And, of course, HOT, HOT, HOT, hot chocolate!!!!
They both received golden keys which is the sign that Santa will be coming this year!
And then they both passed smooth out! As visions of Sugar Plums danced in their heads!!!!

Characters for a Cure 2012
The four Claytons loaded up and headed to Mint for the 2nd annual Characters for a Cure Disney Breakfast. This event is so much fun and gives us a quick fix for our yearning to go to Orlando albeit a little too early for all of us to enjoy! Haze is the PERFECT age for this type of thing...she was soooo in to getting their autographs and posing for pictures. Gray, well, not so much! He wouldn't get near any of the princesses, but when the "characters" came in the room, we was WILD!
He was extremely interested in this open drain vent in the parking lot! Here he is furiously trying to open it to see "what is down dare!"
All four of us really enjoy this breakfast. It is so much fun and rasies a lot of money for the American Cancer Society at the same time!

Checking in
I cannot even believe that this is our little baby girl! Blink and they are 6! She brings such great joy to our life! She is beautiful inside and out, brilliant, talented, athletically coordinated, considerate, appreciative, sweet as pie, and hilarious. We adore her, love her and are so proud of her. Her daddy has his work cut out for him!
Big boy biggin..... This little boy is coming into his own! As gorgeous as he is on the outside, he is even more amazing on the inside. His sense of humor is his greatest asset (aside from those 3 inch eyelashes). He is so smart, artistic, kind, and loving all while being 100% full out boy! He is as fast as lightening, tough as an ox, and stubborn as a mule. Some special lady is going to be so fortunate to have him as her own, but until then...he is all mine!
Pretty much, in a nutshell, what I am talking about!

Valentines and Soccer Balls!
February means time for Valentine's Day and that means it is time to party! I was off work and went to both kiddos school parties this year (a first)! One child willingly let me take pictures, while the other one (Mr. Tude) would not even let me take the camera in the building!
Haze sitting at her table with her buds eating cupcakes!
February also brings new adventures to the Clayton household. We have officially become a soccer family! Grayson's team has not started, but Haze had her first game, bright and early (8am on a Saturday, whoo whoo) and was selected team captain for week one! She didn't have a clue(none of them did) as to what to do, but she looked cute and had a smile on her face the entire time!
Truth be known, Saturday morning at 8, wasn't that bad! I am certain we will have lots of soccer pictures to follow in the next few weeks. Fortunately, the season only lasts 6 weeks....I can do it!
Another new past time in our home......playing possum! I snapped this picture of the two of them "sleeping" recently because it is just too funny how they will pretend to be asleep to get out of doing chores or cleaning or anything they don't want to do! I am pretty certain that they learned this from their momma!
